Sanya to Cooperate with Tencent to Build Urban "Super Brain"

On January 13rd, 2019, the Sanya Municipal People’s Government and Tencent Holdings Limited, one of China’s largest integrated internet service providers, signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

The two parties plan to cooperate in these fields, including developing urban “super brain,” engaging in industrial space development and establishing a Sanya-based regional Tencent headquarters.

Sanya’s urban “super brain” will combine six core abilities: dimensional perception, integration, analysis and decision-making, efficient cooperation, opening, and prediction. Its main focus is to optimize public services.

As a world-renowned internet company, Tencent is strong in social networking services, digital content production and distribution, big data, and artificial intelligence.
