Sanya's 24-hr Ocean-Themed Park, Haichang Fantasy Town

China’s largest ocean theme park operator, Haichang Ocean Park Holdings, Ltd., celebrated the official grand opening of Sanya Haichang Fantasy Town in Haitang Bay on January 20th, 2019.

The project is China’s first immersive ocean-themed entertainment complex integrating cultural tourism, “leisure vacations,” entertainment, and innovative business.

Sanya Haichang Fantasy Town consists of eight creative and culturally representative themed areas, namely Haitang Bay, the African Sea, the Persian Gulf, the Bay of Bengal, the Java Sea, the South China Sea, Waterfront Promenade, and Dream Ocean Theater. The variety of themes helps create a global experience in ocean culture and makes the complex a landmark in world-class entertainment.

The park features 13 major attractions, two grand theater shows, more than 40 family-oriented entertainment options, eight themed restaurants, over 50 specialty snack bars, and more than 30 themed commodity stores.

Foodies’ paradise in one location

The project is the first of its kind in the country to operate on a 24-hour basis. The park aims to provide year-round tourism services in Sanya. The fantasy town uses advanced and interactive technology to promote science and entertainment. The facility’s diversified cuisine and scene-oriented shopping area meets consumer demands for high-quality leisure products.
