Jiaozuo·Edinburgh Cultural and Tourism Exchange Cooperation Symposium was held

On the morning of August 22nd in the UK local time, at the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation (The University of Edinburgh), China Taiji Kungfu Cultural Tourism “The Belt and Road Initiative” Wanlixing activity re-broadcast “fire”, Jiaozuo Edinburgh Cultural and Tourism Exchange Cooperation Symposium was held.

Gong Songqi, member of the Standing Committee of Jiaozuo Municipal Committee and Minister of Propaganda, met with James Galloway, Director of Corporate and Innovation, Edinburgh City Hall, Zhang Ying, Chairman of the Scottish-China Innovation and Technology Association, Gordon McGregor, Ashburn Energy CEO, member of the National Environmental Research Council and director of the Scottish-China Innovation and Technology Association Council, Ed Craig, head of the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation and other government officials and held a symposium.

The symposium mainly focused on the cooperation between Taijiquan, Mount Yuntai and the promotion of “one competition one festival” and the development of high-tech development of ecological agriculture. Gong Songqi said that "Taiji Holy Land · Landscape Jiaozuo" "World Taiji City · Zhongyuan Health Area" is the brand image of Jiaozuo, and cultural tourism is the beautiful business card of Jiaozuo. Mount Yuntai is an internationally renowned tourist resort. Taijiquan is praised as the best way of health preservation for human beings. Friends from Edinburgh are welcome to Jiaozuo to visit mountains and rivers, practise boxing and keep healthy, and experience the style of Jiaozuo's culture and tourism. At the same time, Wenxian is the wheat capital of northern China. We sincerely hope to cooperate with Edinburgh in high-tech agriculture. The participants in Edinburgh responded positively and expressed their eagerness to hope that Jiaozuo and Edinburgh could strengthen exchanges and cooperation in culture, tourism, sports, trade, agriculture, science and technology, and seize the opportunity of " The Belt and Road Initiative" to make greater contributions to jointly build the community of human destiny. The two sides also discussed how to promote the establishment of friendly cities between the two cities.

Before the symposium, the Chinese Taijiquan culture tourism " Wanlixing activity" (Edinburgh station), which was held in the afternoon of August 21st local time, demonstrated the good image of the origin of Taijiquan and highlighted China's unique cultural self-confidence and soft power.
