Elbphilharmonie Plaza Music Festival will be held in Hamburg

The Elbphilharmonie Plaza Music Festival was an unprecendented spectacle when it was first held in August, 2017. This year's music festival will be held from August 14 to 18. It will attract many music lovers to gather in the plaza in front of Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.

Five live performances and some concerts from the main auditoriums of Elbphilharmonie will be played through a huge screen. SAP, the official sponsor of Elbphilharmonie has guaranteed the visual and audio effects will reach the highest level, which will make people immerse themselves in the performances. This year marks the third year for Elbphilharmonie to hold the music festival at the plaza in front of the music hall. Please note that those who arrive first may have more chances to be served with cushions. Local restaurants will open only two hours ahead of the live broadcast that starts at 8 p.m., and the moderator will start to preside half an hour before the concert.

2019 programme arrangement

On August 14, the National Youth Orchestra of the United States will perform on stage. The Portuguese performer Ana Moura will perform on August 15th.

On August 16, Friday, the European Union Youth Orchestra, composed of 140 musicians from 28 EU member states will perform in the auditorium of Elbphilharmonie. The band Soap&Skin will take you on a dynamic world tour on Saturday. the Federal Youth Orchestra will celebrate its 50th anniversary through performance.
