【Introduction】:On the morning of September 19, Lin Ruochen, Director of Industry Department II of the Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce with a Chinese auto industry delegation had a meeting with Mr. Eric Louwman, President of the well-known Dutch company, Louwman Group.
On the morning of September 19, 2019, Lin Ruochen, Director of Industry Department II (Machinery Industry Department) of the Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce(CIPA)with a Chinese auto industry delegation of more than 20 Representatives from the CIPA Benelux Office and Chinese Auto Parts Companies had a meeting with Mr. Eric Louwman, President of the well-known Dutch company, Louwman Group at the Louwman Museum in The Hague. The delegation, led by Mr. Eric Louwman, visited Louwman Automobile Museum and had a heated exchange on New energy automobile, car batteries and so on.

Mr. Eric Louwman first introduced the basics of Louwman Group. Founded in 1923, Louwman Group was not only a typical Dutch family business, but also one of the largest car dealers in Europe. In addition to its branded exclusive operation, the Louwman Group also provides sales of automobile parts, tires and batteries, as well as the professional logistics and warehousing services. The Walking Aid Division specializes in the import and distribution of walking aid devices for people with disabilities. Mr. Eric Louwman mentioned that the goal of Louwman Group is to expand its global business with loyal brand partners. “The Chinese market is promising, we would like to explore the possibilities of the automotive field with all the distinguished guests jointly,” He said.

Lin Ruochen, Director of Industry Department II (Machinery Industry Department) of CIPA acknowledged the speech and stressed that, with the tight communication between China and EU, China and the Netherlands has great growing potential in the automotive field. Lin further expressed his concern during the free exchange session and inquired the Louwman Group's development plans for the Chinese market. Eric Louwman showed highly interests in Chinese new energy automobile and had planned for an exchange with well-known Chinese automobile companies in Shanghai in November. After the speech, led by Mr. Eric Louwman, the delegation visited the Louwman Museum. The museum has the world's largest number of cars in 1910 or earlier, and delegates expressed appreciation on the museum's huge number of cars and exquisite car styling. A representative from Jilin Provincial Department of Commerce said that the established car companies in China could use this model to give the young Chinese a close-up view of the rapid development of Chinese automobile industry.
