【Introduction】:The World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) held a committee meeting in Beijing on Aug 8, 2014.
The World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) held a committee meeting in Beijing on Aug 8, 2014. Wei Xiao’an, director of the committee, and Zhang Hui, deputy director, attended the meeting.
It began with Li Baochun, deputy secretary of the WTCF, giving a briefing on progress the committee has made in 2014 and reporting on preliminary work for the Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit before elaborating the major tasks this year. Plans to launch studies on Chinese outbound tourism consumption, international tourism service standards, as well as a WTCF training program were passed at the meeting.
Another session of the committee meeting will be hosted on Sept 3, mainly to brief experts from overseas on the progress of the WTCF and lay out priorities for next year.
