Dear Colleagues,
We are shocked and d grieved to learn that a devastating earthquake took place in your country on April 25, causing heavy casualties and property losses. On behalf of World Tourism Cities Federation, we wish to express our deep grief over the unfortunate victims and extend our sincere condolences and sympathy to you, and through you to the families of the victims and the injured.
We believe that, with the sympathy and support of all the countries and people all over the world, the Nepal people will be able to overcome the current difficulties and the disaster, rebuild your homeland and all the tourism resources damaged by the earthquake. In this time of crisis, we, your colleagues of WTCF are standing firm with you, and willing to provide all possible assistance to Kathmandu, the member city of WTCF.
