WTCF Holds Media Exchange Seminar in Beijing

On April 7, WTCF held a Media Exchange Seminar in Beijing. Present at the conference were representatives from 15 media institutions, namely, The Beijing News, Sina.com, WEN WEI PO, Chinese National Geography, QQ.com, Lonely Planet, China Pictorial, China Tourism News, China Radio International, China Daily, FTChinese, Youku, Travel Weekly China, Tourism Geography and visitbeijing.com.cn. Yan Han, Deputy Secretary General of WTCF attended the conference, at which he discussed WTCF’s development with media friends.

Yan introduced WTCF’s recent work and member service programs. He said, as a platform for members to complement each other’s advantages and share resources, WTCF had been devoted to providing specific services since its foundation in 2012. He added that WTCF’s achievements could not be possible without the support and help of its media friends, especially those from WTCF’s media branches. In 2016, WTCF will continue to boost membership services. WTCF invites media friends to take active part in its work and conduct sustainable coverage, and WTCF is ready to carry out multi-directional in-depth cooperation with media agencies.

At the conference, media members provided suggestions on the World Tourism Cities magazine, mobile APP and discussed about the coverage of 2016 Chongqing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit which is to be held in September.
