On March 22, the fourth Russia-China Tourism Forum was held in Moscow. The forum started in 2012 with the support of the Russia Federal Agency for Tourism and China National Tourism Administration. The forum aims to create and stimulate Russian tourism in China by striking systematic conversations among the administration departments and tourism industries in Russia and China, and discuss ways to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) was invited to send a delegation to attend the forum. Cai Hua, WTCF Director of Public Relations and Brand Promotion participated in a panel discussion themed “The Future of China's International Tourism Industry: Potential and Prospects.” Cai Hua focused on sharing with the audience the related data on the recently launched topic published by the WTCF on “Market Research Report on Chinese Outbound Tourist (City) Consumption (2014-2015),” and shared her views regarding Russian tourism and market development potential.
Over 400 people attended the forum including tourism elites, media and government officials from Russia and China. Attendees and audiences discussed warmly and enthusiastically at the forum.
