All Parties in Fujian Support the Cultural and Tourist Enterprises

In Fuzhou City on March 6th, Fujian officials updated the media on the latest development on COVID-19 control in the 13th press conference. Su Qingci, party member and deputy director-general of Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, stated on the conference that ever since the epidemic, Fujian provincial departments and all cities have taken policy measures aimed to support and benefit the cultural and tourist enterprises. Moreover, all levels of cultural and tourist departments have done a good job in policy promotion to back the resumption of work and production in such companies.

According to Su Qingci, party officials in Fujian’s cultural and tourist departments helped tackle the difficulties in resumption and tried their best to implement relevant backing policies by linking themselves with major cultural and tourist companies. Moreover, special funds were allocated to support major projects in the cultural and tourist industry. Besides, health tourism, eco-tourism, sci-tourism, industrial and agricultural touring, and tourism combined with performance were intended to meet the new needs of the great masses.

After the epidemic, Fujian will award 300,000 to 3 million yuan to the units which have successfully established the 5A scenic spots, national tourist resorts, provincial brands, national or provincial all-area pilot tourist attractions as well as state-owned or private museums and galleries that have established national 4A scenic spots. Besides, there will be a series of campaigns centered on “Traveling Around Fujian” and special funds will be granted to all districts, cities and counties which have done well in promoting and marketing cultural and tourist brands. 4A scenic spots or above will receive subsidies as long as they offer free touring experience to medical workers around the country.
