Hangzhou releases 100 tourism products to promote market recovery

On March 23, hosted by the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government and Zhejiang Tourism Group, Hangzhou Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, organized by the district and county (city) governments, the West Lake Scenic Area Management Committee, and Qiantang New District Management Committee, the launching ceremony of "Health Tour on Your Doorstep-Happy Tour in Hangzhou" was held in Qiandao Lake Xiushui Square, Chun'an County, Hangzhou. Heads of relevant departments such as the General Office of Hangzhou Municipal Government, the Publicity Department of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Tourism Bureau, the Municipal Education Bureau, the Municipal Finance Bureau, the Municipal Agricultural and Rural Bureau, the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and other relevant departments attended the event. About 600 persons including medical workers, police officers, community workers, tourist representatives and media attended the event. All districts and counties (cities) set up branch venues for video connection and network broadcast.

The event released 100 health tourism featured products and routes with ten themes of Hangzhou selected tour, world heritage tour, red tourism, greenway riding tour, mountain walking tour, flower picking tour, ecological health tour, agricultural experience tour, folk customs tour, farm food tour.

In order to ensure safety, all personnel present at the site must take strict anti-epidemic measures, and all the "security officers" in Chun'an Scenic Area were on duty. In addition to the main venue, the Lin'an branch venue also launched a series of activities of "Blossom in the Field · Enjoying Lin'an in Spring" by the shore of Qingshan Lake. After the launching ceremony, the guests participated in sightseeing of five routes including the Spring Lake Tour, Riding Tour in Spring, Trekking Tour with Spring in the air, Self-driving Tour to enjoy Spring flowers in full bloom and Leisure Tour in beautiful Spring.

It is understood that this event is a large-scale tourism event held under the continuous improvement of epidemic prevention and control situation in Hangzhou. The aim is to fully implement the "Supplementary Opinions on Supporting the Travel Industry to Tide over the Difficulties in Epidemic Prevention and Control" and promote the recovery of Hangzhou tourism market. Start from date of the event to the end of December, relevant departments will launch ten series of activities, increase tourism market publicity and guidance, attract citizens and tourists to actively participate in, and accelerate the revival of the tourism industry in Hangzhou.
