Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit

Helsinki Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2019

From September 2 to 4, 2019, WTCF Helsinki Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2019 will be held in Helsinki, Finland. The theme of the summit is “Smart Tourism - Road to City Innovation and Development”. Activities that will be held during the summit will include the Opening Ceremony and Keynote Speech, Fourth Meeting of the Second Council, Themed Forums, Research Results Release Conference, Tourism Trade Fair, Tourism Exhibition and others.
Qingdao Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2018

From September 7 to 9, 2018, WTCF Qingdao Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2018 was held in Qingdao, China. This summit, with the theme of “Orient Industry Trends, Brand Tourism Cities”, consisted of eight sub-events. About 400 representatives from 112 tourism cities and more than 200 tourism-related enterprises, and many international organizations attended the summit.
Los Angeles Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2017

From September 19 to 20, 2017, WTCF Los Angeles Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2017 was held in Los Angeles, the United States. This summit, with the theme of “Impact of Globalization on World Tourism City Development”, attracted about 400 delegates, including 37 ministers and mayors and international tourism organization top managers from 51 countries, as well as representatives of UNWTO, PATA and other international organizations.
Chongqing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2016

From September 19 to 20, 2016, WTCF Chongqing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2016 was held in Chongqing, China, with a theme of “Shared Economy and Development of World Tourism Cities”. About 400 guests from 89 cities, 57 tourism-related institutions and 6 international organizations attended this year’s summit. More than 120 news agencies all over the world reported on the summit.
Rabat & Fez Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2015

From September 20 to 22, 2015, WTCF Rabat & Fez Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2015 was held in Moroccan member cities Rabat and Fez, with the theme of “World Tourism Cities: Diversity and Sustainability”. It marked the first time that the Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit had been held overseas. The summit was attended by a total of 311 representatives from 100 member units from 42 countries and regions, plus more than 400 guests from various fields.
2014 Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit

From September 4 to 5, 2014, 2014 WTCF Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit was convened in Beijing. With the focus of “Market and Cooperation”, this summit was attended by nearly 600 representatives and guests from a total of 126 member units. At the summit, the WTCF Council decided that, in the future, the place of holding the summit is to be applied for by the member cities. As voted, the WTCF Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2015 was selected to be held in member cites Rabat and Fez.
2013 Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit

From September 11 to 14, 2013, WTCF Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2013 was held in Beijing. With the theme of “Tourism: New Driver of Sustainable Urban Development”, this summit was attended by 102 member units. WTCF signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Athens, Valletta and other cities, effectively playing the role of a communication and cooperation platform among tourism cities around the world.
2012 Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit

From September 14 to 16, 2012, the World Tourism Cities Federation’s Inauguration and the Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit was held in Beijing. The summit consisted of the General Assembly, the meeting of the first WTCF Council, World Tourism Cities Expo, World Tourism Cities Film Show, closing ceremony, and other activities. Statutes of WTCF was approved through deliberation, so were the emblem and the flag.
