484° Aniversario De Lima will be held

This 18th of January the foundation of the city of Lima is celebrated, being its anniversary number 484.

In 1535, Francisco Pizarro sought a place on the coast of Peru for the 'City of Kings'. To do this, he appointed three commissioners, who considered that the seat of Lima was more suitable.

Pizarro thus founded a new city. The city of the Kings for devotion and memory of the Magi. Over time, the city acquired the name of Lima, which was the name used by the Indians.

Therefore, the Municipality of Lima has prepared various activities in the so-called "LIMA DE FIESTA", these activities start from Wednesday sixteen (16) to Sunday twenty (20), receiving a serenade on the 17th.
