Tour of Taiyuan Road Cycling Race & International Bike Week kicked off

On the evening of May 25, the opening ceremony of Tour of Taiyuan Road Cycling Race & International Bike Week was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China. From May 26 to 31, 40 teams from five continents will compete in Shanxi. This event is the fifth international brand bike race named after regional characteristics in China, and also one of the tournaments of the 2022 Tokyo Olympic Games. It has positive significance for Shanxi Province and Taiyuan City to improve the overall development level of bike sport and show Shanxi's good image.

Shanxi is a big province of bike sport, which has a profound historical origin and is also the cradle of the development of China’s bike sport. Taiyuan will adhere to the concept of green development, strive for the bigger, stronger and better bike sport, and to better promote the popularization and development of China's bike sport.
