The Chen’s Ancestral Temple was built in the Qing Dynasty, funded by the Chen families in Guangdong province.

It has won the reputation of being the pearl of architectural arts in southern China.

The temple is a perfect combination of elegance and magnificence with adopting various decoration techniques, particularly for the use of exquisite carving skills. It also has maitained a large collection of traditonal folk crafts which are of great values.

Bus: Taking buses No. 85, 88, 104, 107, 109, 114, 128, 193, 204, 233, 250, 260, 268 or 286 and get off at Chen Clan Academy stop, or take buses No. 15, 52, 55, 105, 133, 196, 207, 232, 233, 549 or 555 and get off at Liwan Road stop
