Panxi Restaurant is close to the charming Liwan Lake Park. Here was the imperial garden “Changhua Yuan” of Liu Chang, King of South Han Dynasty over 1000 years ago, as well as “Lizhiwan” with “fragrant white lotus and red litchi”. In 1947, a Cantonese LiWenlun founded a rural style restaurant on this “flowery land”. At that time, there were 5 streams flowing nearby, one of which was “Panxi”, so the restaurant was named as "Panxi".
Dim sum feast has been popular in the catering industry in some big cities nationwide.
In spite of traditional and innovative Cantonese cuisine, Panxi Restaurant newly adds Sichuan, Shandong, Huaiyang, Chaozhou and Asian Pacific (region) cuisine, thus basically becoming a "gourmet paradise".
