Daguan Pavilion Park: This pavilion has a great view of the lake and the mountains.

Daguan Pavilion Park is located on the side of Dianchi Lake. By the lakeside, you will see willows, lotus, ponds, pavilions, the elegant scenery of the lake and the mountains. In the garden, there is a 180-character couplet that describs Daguan Pavilion Park. The first scroll writes about the beautiful scenery of the lake, the second line recounts the thousand-year history of Yunnan. Combining emotion with scenery, it is called “the first couplet in the world”. Climbing up to the top, the vast water of Dianchi Lake will come into view. It sometimes reminds visitors of the old times. Daguan Pavilion Park is just as famous as the Huanghe Pavilion in Hubei province, Yueyang Pavilion in Hunan province and Teng Wangge Pavilion in Jiangxi province. These three pavilions are the most well known in China.
