With the imposingly majestic and divinely solemn architectures, the Yuanxuan Taoist Temple is one of the largest Taoist temples in South China.
There are a total of six Taoist temples which are Chunyang Palace, Lingxiao Palace, Yuanchen Palace, Guanyin Palace, Sansheng Palace and Wang Tai Sin Palace. And a 18.8-meter-high Laozi bronze statue is standing in the center, with housing another 1,200 Taoism gods.
The broad yard pleasantly shaded with trees and scattered with palaces in every direction, the tranquil and secluded environment, the reasonable layout, and the particularly favorable natural conditions, the temple has long been known as the "Temple of Heaven" in Guangdong and a popular tourist attraction for Taoist followers and tourists from all over the world to pay their tribute to the gods as well as for sightseeing.
