The restaurant is special; as the only Orthodox Eastern Church in Shanghai in the past, it is mysterious and a good place for dates and reminiscence. This is the place in which the escaped Russian missed their hometown in 1920s-1930s; Shanghai youth who want to learn Russian can find a tutor who speaks authentic Petersburg aristocratic Russian on the Russian bulletin board. The church has deep blue onion-type dome and white walls; a view that will make you feel like you’re in a far away land.
There was a time when this romantic place was changed into stock exchange. Later it was changed to a top-grade western restaurant; the elegant atmosphere make guests feels as if they were in a cinematic scene.
You can enjoy all kinds of international dishes, European creative desserts and live bar music performances here. It is a place that combines ancient, modern, elegant and advanced things as well as being a vibrant place.
Tips: The dessert is good; recommendation: dessert and lavender set meal; it is a place for enjoying more environment than food.
