Lanterns will light up the 1.2 km long water path along the Cheonggyecheon Stream starting from Cheonggyecheon Square to Supyogyo Bridge during the Seoul Lantern Festival. The Seoul Lantern Festival is the leading Seoul cultural tourism festival with more than two million spectators annually since 2009. At the Seoul Lantern Festival, you can enjoy a spectacular light show which contains hundreds of LED arts and Hanji – traditional Korean paper – lanterns. Moreover, there are various activities open for citizens and participants, such as making a wish lantern, hanging a wish note and more, offering a variety of pleasure.
