Tanzhe Temple

Tanzhe Temple has a history of more than 1,700 years. It is one of the oldest temples in Beijing. It was built in 307. It is said that Tanzhe Temple existed before Beijing city. It is a busy and crowded place of worship for Buddhists. Several emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties have renovated the temple.

Badachu


Badachu has eight ancient temples. It was built in the late Sui Dynasty and early Tang Dynasty. Badachu is surrounded by three mountains. It has picturesque landscape. It is famous for Buddhist relics of Sakyamuni, the wall of Prajna Paramita and 500 arhat carvings in relief.
