Late Night Shopping at Design District Helsinki

Late Night Shopping event is an extended shopping hour evening within the Design District providing all design enthusiasts a wonderful opportunity to find great design bargains and take part in special events during the evening.

The participating small businesses will stay open later than usual, organizing different types of special programme – e.g. music, workshops and designer meet’n’greets - as well as offering unique products, services and experiences in their stores.

The event is taking place six times per year with various themes (see below). During the evening a free-of-charge design walking tour will be organised.

25.8.2016 Night of the Arts - Night of Design

Night of the Arts is celebrated in Helsinki on 25 August. Design District Helsinki participates in the celebrations with a Late Night Shopping event. The programme includes as usual prolonged evening opening hours, a free-of-charge walking tour and special offers by participating boutiques.

8.9.2016 Design & Interiors

As part of the Helsinki Design Week (organised on 1-11 September) the Late Night Shopping event in September will be organised around the theme of design and interiors. During the evening you can find design also in a museum or even in an antiques store.

3.11.2016 Eat, Drink & Sleep

Food and hotel culture will be in focus in November. Discover the nearly 30 restaurants, cafes and bars at the Design District Helsinki as well as special programme and offers during the evening.
