The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) opened an exhibition of 20th-century treasures at the National Museum of China on Thursday.
The exhibition, on display until Sept. 1, features 123 pieces of jewelry designed by mid-20th-century artist-jeweler Jean Schlumberger.
Meanwhile, the national museum has selected 11 pieces of ancient Chinese cultural relics to join the U.S. treasures on display to show the beauty of arts and crafts to Chinese audience.
