King of Denmark, Frederick VII, has promulgated the first constitution. It marked the end of monarchy in Denmark, and the establishment of a constitutional monarchy. On this day the Danish flags are flying everywhere, the politicians come out to give speeches and promote their political views. The voters are resting on the grass leisurely and enjoying their rights of freedom which constitution brings to them.
