St. George’s Day

St. George’s Day is also known as Rose Festival which is the Catalan Valentine’s Day. Spanish boys will send flowers to their favorite girl, and girls will give books to them in return. This is exactly what is called “send flowers to your lover; books witness eternal.” During this romantic day, bookstalls and flower markets are everywhere on the street.
