Harbin Wanda Icy Wonderland Open for Visitors

The Harbin Wanda Icy Wonderland, with its colorful lights, ice architecture and sculptures, parades and ice-skating shows, recently opened to the public.

Chinese singer Zhang Liangying and Latvian singer Vitaliy Vladasovich Grachov, who is better known as Vitas, performed at the opening ceremony.

Besides a regular indoor music show, there will be concerts and other activities at the theme park until the New Year.

With an area of 500,000 square meters, the park comprises more than 50,000 cubic meters of ice and 100,000 cubic meters of snow.

The wonderland, involving an investment of 100 million yuan ($15.3 million), is located next to Wanda Mall in Harbin in Heilongjiang province.
