Tanjung Pendam Beach

Tanjung Pendam Beach is located in the city center, near the Belitung Regency Museum. Several heritage buildings from the Dutch colonial period are also preserved near the beach. The buildings are still functioned as residential houses or as public facilities including a hospital and church.

The locals also like visiting the beach in the evening to watch the sunset. At night, you can visit the beach bars and cafes to have dinner while enjoying the musical performance on the spot. The locals also like angling Bebulus, a kind of small fish in the area.
