Tanjung Kelayang Beach

Tanjung Kelayang Beach is located in Sijuk district, Belitung, about 27 km away from Tanjung Pandan, and it is like an exotic beach scenery painting. Kelayang refers to a kind of bird on the island. Tanjung Kelayang Beach is famous for being a filming location of The Rainbow Troops (Laskar Pelangi).

It has turquoise water with gentle waves lapping to its soft white sandy beach. Owing to that, it’s comfortable and quite safe for swimming. A row of coconut trees also make it more enjoyable to visit. Close to the beach, there are piles of granite boulders, which function as a good background when you take photos.
