Gogol Street

Gogol Street has a history of over 100 years. Here, you can see numerous Russian-style buildings, such as the tower of famous Qiulin Food Company and Alexeyev Church. In terms of prosperity and the beauty of night sceneries, Gogol Street is as good as Central Street. Besides, Gogol Street is a pub street in Harbin.

Originally built in 1901, Gogol Street extends for 2.7 kilometers. Since 1902, when Qiulin Food Company set up a branch here, various firms have increased gradually, and the street has developed into one of the busiest business street in Harbin.

Meanwhile, Gogol Street is a famous cultural street, with modern horseshoe rocks paved on both sides. At certain intervals, the street is inlaid with a marble slate, which displays the history, culture and connotations of Heilongjiang Province with famous historical and cultural figures, classics, and noted songs.

How to get here: take Subway Line 1, and get off at Harbin Museum; take Bus 7, 8, 44, 92, or 109, and get off at Qiulin Company
