Gangaramaya (Vihara) Buddhist Temple, located opposite of the Gangaramaya Lake and Park, is a group of elaborately carved building. It combines the architectural features of Sri Lanka, Thailand, India and China. There is a library, a museum, a dormitory, and a three story Buddhist College. There is also a banyan tree in the yard.
