【Introduction】:China Southern Airlines (CSA) opened its first direct flights from Macao to Hubei province s capital city of Wuhan on April 3.

China Southern Airlines (CSA) opened its first direct flights from Macao to Hubei province's capital city of Wuhan on April 3.

Opening the new flights is a further opportunity to promote the mainland China and Macao's cooperation in such fields as economic trade, tourism and culture. The flights are scheduled for Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from both directions, and Airbus Boeing 737-800 type aircrafts are running on the Macao-Wuhan route.

As increasingly more flights have been launched by CSA at the Wuhan Tianhe International Airport (WUH), the Macanese passengers who want to visit destinations such as Los Angeles and Moscow can choose flights that transfer at the (WUH). CSA will provide services including free accommodations to passengers whose flights transfer at WUH.

Wuhan Tianhe International Airport is located in the center of China's airline route network. It is a focus city for China's three major airlines, Air China, China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines.

China Southern Airlines, with headquarters in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, is China's largest and the world's third largest airlines in terms of the number of passengers carried. It operates the largest feet, most developed route network and largest passenger capacity of any airline in China.
