In recent years, China has become one of the countries with the fastest growing sources of tourists arriving in Sweden. In 2015, Chinese tourists stayed in Sweden in total for 261,000 room nights, a growth of 28.5% compared to 2014. Pure and pleasant natural scenery, unique metropolis, and Swedish lifestyle have become the main factors for attracting tourists.

Li Chunmei, Chief Representative of Visit Sweden in China, said that, “We are so pleased to become a partner of Caissa Touristic to jointly promote the market development. Swedish tourism resources are different from traditional sightseeing; instead, we prefer the experience of the lifestyle in Northern Europe. We hope that by cooperating with Caissa Touristic in a strategic way, we can attract more Chinese tourists to visit Sweden and enrich their travel memory in Northern Europe by providing some new experience projects. ”

Caissa Touristic has developed a series of Northern European products for the cooperation. Departure places include Beijing and Shanghai. The brand new passenger cabins will provide Chinese tourists with more convenient and comfortable experience. Earlier this year, Sweden announced 10 newly increased visa centers in China which will facilitate applicants to apply for visas near their residences; resulting in better service for Chinese tourists.
