KOLLÁZS - Brasserie & Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest has launched a new partnership with fine art photography gallery LUMAS Budapest.
The first exhibition, Taste of Colors - The Liberation of Art, presents artworks by established artists and promising newcomers from Hungary and around the world, as well as historical and contemporary pieces from the LUMAS portfolio. The works were selected by the curators of the gallery based on an artistic concept that fits the milieu of the restaurant. All works are available for purchase online or at the LUMAS Budapest gallery. This collection can be viewed for a period of three months, and new artworks will follow every quarter.
“We were looking to find balance between the interior design and the artworks. The interior design reflects the artistic era of the 1910s and 20s, honouring Art Nouveau style and Budapest’s legendary coffee house culture,” comments Yves Giacometti, General Manager, Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest.
“We are proud to contribute to the celebration of photography as fine art. We’d love for guests to explore the world of LUMAS at KOLLÁZS – Brasserie & Bar with a curious, open mind and find inspiration here. Harmony, strength, elegance, energy, and pure emotion emanate from these photographs. We are confident your visit to our carefully curated space will inspire and delight both the seasoned and first time collector,” adds Eva Wikonkál, Gallery Owner, LUMAS Budapest.
The current exhibition at KOLLÁZS includes works by Alfredo Palmero, Bence Bakonyi, Lynne Collins, Joseph Leombruno and Jack Bodi, Beatrice Hug, Annet van der Voort, Eva Navarro, Bart van Leeuwen, André Kertész, Rafael Neff, Christopher Pilitz, and Man Ray.
