Hong Kong Airlines resumes direct flight services to Ho Chi Minh City starting 20 July 2017, further strengthening its network in Asia. The route will run 5 times weekly and aircraft A320 will be deployed.

Ho Chi Minh City has always been one of the most bustling cities in Asia with great cultural charm, and with our long established and successful development in Hanoi, we see great potential in Vietnam.
The resumption of Ho Chi Minh City route will not only consolidate our strategic position in Asia, it will also help us tap into the global market, connect passengers to our other long haul routes like Gold Coast, Auckland and Vancouver which will inaugurate this June. Established in 2006, Hong Kong Airlines is a full-service airline firmly rooted in Hong Kong. It has grown remarkably in just ten years with a wide destination network covering 36 major cities across the Asia Pacific region, including Gold Coast, Auckland, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, Tokyo, Sapporo, Seoul, Bangkok, Bali and Okinawa.
The Company has also signed code share agreements with 14 airlines and 75 interline partners. The current operating fleet is made up of 33 Airbus aircraft, consisting of 29 passenger aircraft and 4 freighters. With an average age of around 4.7 years, Hong Kong Airlines operates one of the youngest fleets in the world. Hong Kong Airlines has been awarded the internationally acclaimed four-star rating from Skytrax since 2011. It was also the winner for Asia’s Leading Inflight Service in World Travel Awards 2015.
