The Christmas sale offers attractive return fares to the airline’s newest destinations including San Francisco#, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Gold Coast, Cairns and Auckland from HK$2,824. To top off Hong Kong Airlines’ “Gift You More” Christmas promotion, the airline has launched Accelerate, a new loyalty initiative that rewards frequent flyers with instant travel benefits, and to quickly become top tier members of the Fortune Wings Club.

The programme, open to travellers currently holding one of the top two tiers of other frequent flyer programmes, will see Hong Kong Airlines offer participants the following perks when they purchase eligible fares sold by the airline:

· Priority check-in at Business Class counters

· Priority baggage handling

· Free extra legroom seats (subject to availability)

· Access to Hong Kong Airlines’ lounges at Hong Kong International Airport – Club Autus and Club Bauhinia

Travellers can join Accelerate by emailing call.center@hkairlines.com and provide the following:

· Full name (as specified in travel document)

· Soft copy scan of membership status from other frequent flyer programme(s)

· Fortune Wings Club membership number

· Existing booking of eligible fare for travel on Hong Kong Airlines (ticket number)

Successful applicants will receive confirmation emails 72 hours after submitting their applications, along with their personal Accelerate Elite card, which they will use to rack up flight sectors along the way.

As an added bonus, Hong Kong Airlines will also award participants with either Silver or Gold status, when they complete either six or 12 eligible flight sectors within 100 days. With a growing network that now covers over 40 destinations around Asia, Southwest Pacific and North America, customers now benefit from more travel options and are able to rack up flight sectors quicker than ever.
