Hong Kong Airlines Million Challenge 2017/18 Season Draws to an Exhilarating Close

Hong Kong Airlines held a special event on 21 February 2018 that celebrated the finale of the Hong Kong Airlines Million Challenge 2017/18 season. Having been named the title sponsor for the challenge, the airline has worked closely with the Hong Kong Jockey Club over the course of the past few months, and will look to continue to do so over the next two seasons.

Senior management from Hong Kong Airlines and the Hong Kong Jockey Club officiated the evening’s dinner as well as the award presentation ceremony to share the joy with attending guests. There was also a lively lion dance performance to celebrate Chinese New Year.

The champion as well as the first and second runner ups were announced at the conclusion of the final two races of the night. Speaking during his opening address, Mr Tang King Shing, Vice Chairman of Hong Kong Airlines expressed delight that the Hong Kong Airlines Million Challenge had demonstrated the airline’s commitments to community service.

As the 2017/18 season concludes, all eyes will be on the start of the 2018/19 season. Hong Kong Airlines and the Hong Kong Jockey Club are looking forward to making it yet another memorable season for all. Both parties are committed to contributing to the community share the same values – “Truly Hong Kong”, “passion for service” and “delivering more, as they look to create greater synergy and help foster community development through this cooperation.
