Seoul Government Launches Tourism App in Chinese

The official Seoul government website announced the launch of a Seoul tourism mobile app called “iTourSeoul+.” This app will aid visitors to the capital with readily available information on nearby tourist attractions and transportation options.

As the website explains, this mobile app will provide a variety of basic travel options around Seoul and also a function called “Augmented Reality, AR.” After the AR function is enabled in the app, scan the QR code on the free-issued Seoul traveling handbook to access attractions, restaurants, shows, and shopping information, which are not printed out in the handbook. With this technology, "iTourSeoul+" really enhance Seoul’s online to offline traveling services connection.

Additionally, "iTourSeoul+" is available for download in major mobile application stores and offers a variety of language options, including Korean, English, Simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Japanese, etc.
