STDC Honored as 'China's National Outstanding Tourism Unit'

The Sanya Tourism Development Commission (STDC) was honored by being named “Outstanding Tourism Unit of China’s National Tourism System” during a national tourism system meeting held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on December 12th, 2016.

Sun Lin, General Manager of Sanya’s Wuzhizhou Island Tourism Zone, was awarded the “Model Worker in China’s National Tourism System” designation, and Lai Ziye, Deputy Director of the Sanya Administration of Tourism Quality Supervision, was awarded the “Outstanding Worker in China’s National Tourism System” designation.

Wang Yang, Vice Premier of China’s State Council; Li Jinzao, Director of the China National Tourism Administration, and Yang Chunguang, Deputy Director of the State Administration of Civil Service attended the meeting.

STDC was granted the honor for its contribution to the development of the tourism industry.

The Certificate of Honor was jointly issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China, and the China National Tourism Administration.
