On June 14th, the WTCF delegation visited the Rio de Janeiro Tourism Bureau (hereinafter referred to as Rio). The chairman of the Rio de Janeiro Tourism Bureau Mr. Carlos, sales manager Mr. Paulo, the government travel consultant Mr. George, etc had a friendly meeting with the WTCF delegation.

Mr. Carlos paid special attention to the formation and development of the WTCF; he congratulated that so many well-known tourism cities and tourism agencies have joined the WTCF and he hopes that Rio would join the WTCF as soon as possible.

Secretary-General Yan Han introduced the job duties of the WTCF, the 2013 Beijing World Tourism Cities-Fragrant Hills Summit and related preparatory situations in detail. Meanwhile, he introduced the basic information of the development of Beijing tourism, Beijing’s 72-hour Visa Free policy and the development of the World Tourism Cities Federation. He represented the WTCF Secretary General Luyong who invited Rio de Janeiro to join the World Tourism Cities Federation.
