The Institutions of the Member Cities in Beijing Participate in the Beijing Drag

Hosted by the Beijing Tourism Development Committee, the Beijing Tourism Dragon Boat Festival promotional activities, whose theme was “Beijing’s Love of Zongzi and Enjoyment of the Dragon Boat Festival”, were held on June 10 in Yangqing County of Beijing. The institutions of the members in Beijing of the World Tourism Cities Federation include Brussels, Bulgaria, Chile, Buenos Aires, Chicago and other cities, along with America Asia Travel Center and others participated in the activities by invitation.

During the cultural experience activities of the Dragon Boat Festival, foreigners watched the exciting dragon boat competition, ate traditional food of this festival and also personally made Zongzi with great pleasure. These wonderful and curiously new tourism activities not only help foreigners experience the traditional folk culture of the festival, but also helps grow their strong interest in Beijing’s folk culture tourism.
