Song Yu becomes WTCF Secretary General

Song Yu, director of the Beijing Tourism Development Commission, was inaugurated as the new secretary general of the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF). The official ceremony took place at the WTCF Council plenary member meeting on July 11, 2014,

On June 30, 2014, the WTCF Council approved, in accordance with the WTCF Statues, Lu Yong’s resignation as the then-WTCF secretary general. Lu stepped down from his position because of a job transfer.
