【Introduction】:The 4-day long First International Tourist Destination (Cities) Promotion and Marketing Training program ended on A
April 1st, marked the conclusion of the 4-day long First International Tourist Destination (Cities) Promotion and Marketing Training program. The students from the program are due to return to their own countries after a brief stay in Beijing; however, before departing they celebrated their achievement. On that evening, WTCF organized the graduation ceremony for the students.
WTCF Secretary-General Song Yu delivered a warm speech to the students
During the ceremony, a cheerful, pleasant atmosphere could be felt; seizing the moment, WTCF Secretary-General Song Yu gave an enthusiastic speech. He then gratefully thanked the students for their participation so that the training session could end successfully. As a result, WTCF will keep working hard in building a platform for its member cites and institutional members in order to create more collaboration opportunities. The first training session was held under continuous research and consulting, through which WTCF aimed to provide functional knowledge for its member cities. Through the training program, the member cities were able to gain a thorough understanding of the Chinese market; effectively, giving them the expertise to devise and execute relevant strategies in promoting and developing its tourism market.
WTCF Secretary-General Song Yu also openly welcomed suggestion and feedback from the students. Based on the experience of this training, WTCF will be able to improve and offer greater services and training programs in the future.
Kouassi Camille, Counselor of Embassy of the Republic of Cote d' Ivoire spoke on behalf of the students
On behalf of the students, Kouassi Camille, Counselor of Embassy of the Republic of Cote d' Ivoire, expressed his appreciation for the training program. He went on to explain how paying close attention and making notes helped him learn a lot from all the lecturers. Utilizing this new found knowledge, Camille said he would help his country take a more precise, focused approach in targeting Chinese tourists. He said the training was practical and effective. Lastly, Camille mentioned how he hoped to attend further training programs hosted by other member cities; which, gives the cities an opportunity to display themselves. He feels WTCF will always be supported by the Republic of Cote d' Ivoire and Abidjan city; then ended off by thanking the staff members of WTCF for their hard work and patience.
Students will go back with blessings from each other and anticipation to meet again
Participants said that they had experienced China in a three-dimensional way via the great lessons from lectures, direct communication with other tourism industries and the media, visit to tourism companies and tour to some famous places of interests. China outbound tourism had captured attention from the world, and those who could understand the Chinese market and its tourists could have a better chance to benefit from it.
Though they come from different states, countries, and cities, during the 4-day training, all the participants studied together. It is not only knowledge that they have gained, but also friendship. On April 2, most of the participants will go back with blessings from each other and anticipation to meet again.
