On July 31, 2018, Hamburg was like what the picture book has described: people who live in northern Germany are experiencing an unusual summer. A completely different voice has been spreading beyond Hamburg, “It will rain for half of the year, and the other half will not be in good weather.” Also because of this reason, Hamburg people can enjoy more sunshine in the city and on the seashore as the cool breeze caresses their cheeks. In the coming summer, with three new movies to be debuted in the theaters, the city will showcase its classic lifestyle: taking a short but interesting tour along the Elbe River. The “Water Life” event has been launched at www.hamburg-tourismus.de/stadtkueste, which features videos about water culture and water events. Water and life are harmoniously combined, and you are welcome to join it.
With this year’s nice temperature, the entire of Hamburg’s seashores are teeming with visitors. Far from the heat wave, the Elbe riverbank indulges itself in the coolness of the breeze, welcoming visitors to begin their adventures and relax here. The rippling seashore area is also worth our attention. Its water lifestyle has turned Hamburg to a unique spot. After all, the Elbe scenery can be seen everywhere around you! As the cool breeze blows over our shoulders, visitors can touch the softness of the sea on the horizon, and the seagulls begin singing the song to compliment the city and its people. Only a few steps from your door, you can feel the warm sunshine and the taste of sea salt - and this is the unique sight of Hamburg.
We can see the soothing and peaceful scenery that makes its people treat the seashore as gems, and the unique comparison between the vigor of the Elbe and the city’s brand image. Between the gigantic ships and the romantic port view, the satisfying life experience will never make you feel tired.
Whether you take a walk, drink a cup of coffee with your friends, or walk your dog, the seashores here can satisfy all your desired activities. The key reason why Hamburg can perfectly make a family, friends, and even an individual person feel comfortable and free is that it is close to the water. In the waves of the water channels, the water life vibrates here and there and sails forward against the breeze.
From August to October, three movies will be released in theaters along with the water life, and these movies will reflect on the different aspects of the water life. The first scene focuses on the leisurely activities that take place from dawn to dusk around the Elbe River, and will be presented through its powerful narrative means.
Visiting www.hamburg-tourismus.de/stadtkueste, you can see the impression of Hamburg City - Seashore on its homepage. In the three months to come, content and videos regarding water life and other themes of activities will be added to the same web page; and you will have such an experience only when you are in Hamburg.
Additionally, for those dynamic travelers who wish to be soaked in the classic daily life and don’t want to choose the old way, there is also an alluring preferential choice: Tours starting from 116 Euros for 2 nights (you may also book a train ticket for your travel), includes Hamburg port tour, musical dramas at sea as well as the cruise travel itinerary.
