Nasikia Camps will be opening a new luxury tented camp, Kusini Kopjes Kambi, in Tazania's Serengeti in 2020.
Kusini Kopjes Kambi is perched on a granite kopje (small hill) in the tranquil Kusini sector of the southern Serengeti. The site allows for some breathtaking views of the plains below, especially when the Great Migration occurs from December to March as well as in July and August.
The kopjes in this region, which surround the camp, are home to a great variety of wildlife. Each area is connected to the next with naturally constructed wooden walkways as well as granite paths to blend in with the natural beauty of the surroundings.
The camp will feature 12 tented suites, including a honeymoon suite. Each tented suite contains a lounge with couches, a dressing area and a king-size bed.
Activities will include morning and evening game drives; bush breakfasts, picnics and dinners; community and cultural visits; and hot-air balloon safaris (there is an additional cost for this activity).
The Kusini Kopjes Kambi camp will be permanently positioned year-round. Freshwater supplies are accessible, and solar energy is used for the camp.
