Sofia International Film Festival

Sofia International Film Festival is a main film festival in Bulgaria. Since 1997, every year, over 70,000 people are drawn to this activity. The festival intends to introduce the important and creative works to the public in Bulgaria, and also to help introduce Bulgarian films to the world, to promote the cooperation between local and international film producers.

Movie buffs descend on the capital each March for a celebration of international independent films.
