Dalian Fashion Festival

“Eat in Guangzhou, play in Shanghai, and buy clothing in Dalian.” After reform and opening, Dalian inhabitants will wear anything; this indicates that clothing is one of the most sparkling titles of Dalian. The first Dalian Fashion Festival was held in 1988, called “Dalian Carnival” by foreign visitors. Many celebrities, officials, models, singers, and movie stars attended. The artistic elites performing on stage presented a busy and lively festival.
