Sanya Airport Sets up Female-Only Security Check Channel

Sanya Phoenix International Airport recently set up a security check channel solely for female passengers, with the aim of protecting the privacy of female passengers and help them avoid the embarrassment of being checked by male security inspectors.

The women’s security lane, which is marked in pink, is also expected to help cut queues in general.

It is a move by the airport to improve its services and become more passenger-friendly.

In addition to the female security check channel, the Sanya airport has two late-comer security channels, two first-class cabin security channels, two luggage-free security channels and two specially designated security channels for people with disabilities.
