The Global Tourism Economy Forum, organized by the government of China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), is to be held here in mid-October, the organizer said on Wednesday.
The forum, under the theme of “Tourism and Leisure: Roadmap to a Beautiful Life,” is to convene from Oct. 13 to Oct. 15, the Macao SAR government said in a press release.
Centred on the concept of “Beautiful Life,” the forum will lead forward-thinking discussions on global tourism economy. It is also dedicated to radiating a far-reaching impact as an advanced platform for international tourism exchange and cooperation, it said.
This edition of forum will bring together ministers of sports, culture and tourism, corporate leaders and experts worldwide to discuss the latest tourism policies and trends, unveil vast opportunities for new growth in cultural, sports and tourism, as well as explore in depth the interplay potential of tourism industry.
