Valletta Mayor: We are getting ready for Chinese tourists

For four days, international industry leaders worked together as part of the Beijing Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit of World Tourism Cities 2013. Their goal was to “Improve city life through tourism.”

Mayor of Valletta talks to China Daily on the sideline of the conference, elaborating on the city’s strategies to attract more Chinese tourists.

Tourism officials and experts from more than 100 cities and a variety of organizations and businesses met in Beijing Sept 11. Their hope was to do their part to revive the world’s economy – by the development of tourism.
