Silk Road Tourism Cooperation Forum and 11th Outbound Tourism Forum to be held in Beijing

【Introduction】:The 11th International Forum on Chinese Outbound Tourism (IFCOT2015) will be held on June 29th, 2015 in Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel

After 10 years of rapid growth, the Chinese outbound tourism has entered a new stage of transition and upgrade. The 11th International Forum on Chinese Outbound Tourism (IFCOT2015) will be held on June 29th, 2015 in Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel, with the help and participation of many travel agencies from home and abroad. Discussions will include the new challenges in tourism development brought by the Belt and Road Initiative strategy, the launching of new tourism products with the new characteristics of Belt and Road Initiative, as well as promotion of the cooperation between Chinese, foreign travel agencies and enterprises.

This forum will be co-hosted by WTCF and Ivy Alliance Tourism Consulting, and many domestic and overseas organizations expressed support for it. Topic of the forum is “Belt and Road Initiative, The New Driving Force of International Tourism”. Subtopic discussions will include Belt and Road Initiative and new opportunities in the tourism cooperation, Chinese inbound and outbound tourism in the new normal, new direction in Belt and Road Initiative tourism investment, Chinese outbound tourism price index report, new thinking in the Silk Way tourism development, Chinese citizens travel consumption analysis report, transition and upgrade in Southeast Asia and South Asia tourism product, new media, new technology and precision tourism marketing, cruise tourism special subject and so on. On the occasion, there will be almost 30 distinguished guests present to share their precious experience and insights by making speeches.

For the first time, this forum will discuss the research and development of the Silk Road tourism product and regional tourism cooperation in the perspective of Chinese citizen outbound travel. It will bring new connotation and vitality to the Silk Road economic belt and tourism of Maritime Silk Road in 21th century.

Almost 300 guests come from more than 30 countries and regions will attend this forum. They cover travel agencies, embassy officers, tourism enterprise principals, related Chinese city tourist administrations, leading tour operators, as well as online tour operators, tourist agents, security investment institutions, and many media. These countries include Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Philippines, Korea, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Egypt, Russia, Croatia, Slovenia, Latvia, Albania, Greek, German, Belgium, Spain, Czech Republic, Italy, France, Switzerland, The United Kingdom, Ukraine, Macedonia, Australia, New Zealand, The United States, Bahamas, Peru and Tahiti.

This forum is also an important WTCF event in the first half of the year. With rich content and professional standards, WTCF will analyze the new opportunities brought by Belt and Road Initiative strategy in a multi-dimensional approach. At the same time, WTCF will develop close cooperation between tourism organizations and enterprises home and abroad by establishing this interactive platform.
